This year's photos were scanned from my 35mm Kodak color negatives by our local branch of Wolf Camera, evidently using an MGI setup in their 1-hour lab. The technician said she "just ran it on automatic" but I thought the results were pretty disappointing. There were alignment & color scale problems, as well as giving just one huge JPEG file instead of the multiple resolutions as on a real Kodak PhotoCD. (Grumble!) Anyway Sharon Swezey (our neighbor across the alley, mother of George and local ace with Adobe PhotoShop) came to the rescue.
